Honestly not sure HOW this company has such good reviews. Took my car here because the engine started acting funny, needed a local place that looked honest and easy, so I landed on ACA. They told me it was spark plugs, which is fine, then of course as any shady auto shop does, they start stacking up the issues, I told them fine to an oil change, and also to check my breaks since sometimes (key word sometimes) when I back up, they make a whistling noise. They called me back that same day and said they found the issue and would fix my breaks. Two days later, they told me my car would be done Monday at 4:30 so I show up, sit twiddling my thumbs until 5:30 when they tell me my car's NOT done and there's something else wrong with my breaks. Mind you, while I was in there, 3 other people were losing their minds on staff because they had also been told their cars would be done but they weren't. At this point, I am so irritated, they send me home in an Uber (seems to be their only customer service answer for bad jobs). They call me back the next day saying my car is ready but...now it needs a new tire!! And alignment!! Shady shady shady and CRAZY expensive - I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone having car issues. Horrible. UPDATE: The told me they fixed my brakes and they certainly charged me for it, but as of today, the brakes are STILL making noise!! This place is a complete rip-off!

This is the absolute best place to get a smog check done! Everywhere else in LA is upwards of $60, but this was $28 with a coupon. They said it typically takes an hour from arrival to leaving, and they beat it by 10 minutes. Just bring a book or just chill on your phone for a bit, and they have coffee in the lobby. And everyone was extremely nice at the front desk, and they even send your passing results to the government/DMV so you don't need to bring anything with you to your registration appointment. Thank you for a great service!

The nicest and hardworking people I have ever met! They assisted me with my oil change and smog check. They also do a thorough inspection on the car during my oil change. Although it does take a while, there is a yummy sushi place across the street! I have no issue hanging around when I can eat sushi lol. They even noticed my transmission cap was not put on. The last mechanic that I went to never noticed so it shows that the guys at ACA automotive do really detailed inspections!

I recently brought my 2003 Ford Crown Victoria to ACA due to engine misfiring. From the moment I walked in I felt welcome and assured the problem would be fixed. I received a call the following day outlining the issues and the repair necessary. The car was repaired with no further issues or concerns. It runs great! As when I first walked in, I felt welcome and appreciated all the way through. Very professional group of people!

Not too good. Just to do a quick inspection for Uber he said I was looking at a 3 hour wait! So he would've done the inspection, but I would have to have ny car there. If they would've let me come back with my car in three hours and then inspect it, thats cool, but leave it there, so you can wait there to do an inspection? Which by the way, is no repairs. It's just check brakes, check lights seat belts. Takes 10 minutes. So not impressive on that time management. Thanks though for at least offering to do it today so three stars for that.

First time customer, but I won't go back. Felt I was over charged for services rendered. (Called a few other places after and was quoted $200-300 less for same job). They were close to my house so went there...people were pleasant on the phone. Also felt like they tried to over charge me again for "suggested" services after they had my car apart. I can't stand commission based service writers. 😒

THANK YOU ACA My car had the "check engine" light come on which led to the discovery of a hidden broken electrical wire buried deep in the wiring harness. I dont know how they ever found it. They fixed it just like new. I want to say Thank You so very much for your good work (as usual). There is a reason their parking lot is always so full....they are really good at what they do. Thanks again.
